How Can We Help Orcas?
Conservation and Conclusion
Orcas are amazing animals. They have interesting ways of life. Sadly, these animals are endangered. They are at risk of extinction. Luckily, many governments worldwide have come to the rescue. They have banned whaling, which is a major reason of population decline. Some nations have even banned killing orcas. The reason why many animals get endangered is because that one part of the food web is harmed. If one system in a food chain is harmed, others will be. Without predators, there will be prey overpopulation and crowding. This causes extinction of other organisms. Without prey, predators like orcas will die out. It is like a link broken in a chain. You can help in the conservation rush to save orcas. One way to do this is to reduce your waste. A lot of trash ends up in the ocean, harming marine life. Recycling and composting helps make sure something will not end up in the ocean and killing fish. Also use reusable items such as cloth shopping bags instead of plastic bags which are not disposable. These ultimate orcas need your help to get saved. Actually some websites claim that the population is unknown and there are many orcas in the wild. With your help, orcas may regain population.
